You asked. We answered! Due to your overwhelming requests, we've been able to reschedule our annual Shred Event on Saturday, July 18. Residents can drive-up and drop off documents while an on-site industrial shredder destroys the documents into high-security confetti-size pieces. All shredded material is recycled and you save 17 trees for every ton of paper recycled. IMPORTANT SAFETY GUIDELINES: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and to limit touchpoints, we are asking patrons to remove bags from their own car and place them into the shredder. If you need assistance due to physical limitations, please make sure the bags are in your trunk, and we will have staff on-site to assist you. Masks are required. PLEASE NOTE: Limit of 5 Paper Bags Per Car, No Exceptions. Please bring your paper items ONLY in brown paper bags. Absolutely NO cardboard boxes or plastic bags will be accepted for shredding.
SHREDDER WILL ACCEPT: Documents with paper clips, staples or binder clips, junk mail, envelopes, cancelled checks, etc.
SHREDDER WILL NOT ACCEPT: Plastic, binders, cardboard or other non-paper items
