Community Event: Lisle's 4th of July Parade & Ice Cream Social

PARADE: In commemoration of Independence Day, the 4th of July Parade will begin at 10:00 AM at Lisle Junior High School, 5207 Center Ave. and will proceed through Downtown Lisle ending on Center Ave. near The Museums at Lisle Station Park. A map of the parade route is available on our website. Decorate your bike and bring it to Lisle Junior High School to line-up before the parade from 9:30-9:45am. All decorated bikes can participate in the parade! If you or your organization would like to participate in the parade, please fill out our parade participation form, which is available on our website. The 4th of July Parade is hosted by the Lisle Park District, Village of Lisle, Lisle Police Department, Lisle-Woodridge Fire Protection District, Lisle Library District, Lisle Chamber of Commerce, Ross Bishop VFW Post #5696 **************************************** ICE CREAM SOCIAL: Begins following the parade around 10:45 AM at The Museums at Lisle Station Park, 921 School St. Join the Lisle Heritage Society for their annual Ice Cream Social and discover Lisle's past with a frozen treat while enjoying patriotic music performed by the Lisle Community Band. Ice cream available while supplies last.
